Photography Courses for groups of youth and women at Kufr Qara, a Palestinian village within Israel (2004-2006), Artist-Teacher fellowship of the Ministry of Culture and Education. The tools of documentary photography and discussion facilitation allowed the participants to create reflections on the environment and community life and to deal with issues such as gender, identity and critical thinking. During the two years of workshops we also accumulated a large collection of historical images that later became part of the Historical Archive of Umm el-Fahem Gallery. The project was concluded with a series of postcards, a cultural week and two exhibitions: one at Kufr Qara and the other in Pardes Hannah, a neighboring Jewish community.
